Legacy ER & Urgent Care, a Plano, Texas based operator and pioneer of Hybrid community based healthcare facilities has appointed Dan Wolterman to its Board of Directors. The assignment supports the organization’s rapid growth and expansion across the United States.
Mr. Wolterman, former CEO of Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, led Texas’ largest not-for-profit health system from 2002-2016. Dan has been recognized seven times by Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare, and was ranked #15 out of over 21,000 entries in 2012. Wolterman was recognized in a year which saw notables such as President Barack Obama (#4), Chief Justice John Roberts (#1), and Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney (#13). Under his leadership, Memorial Hermann became one of the most prominent health systems in the United States and was named one of the top 15 health systems (#5) by Thomas Reuters.
